They are very forgiving, whip them out of pots, put a little bit of compost in the pot, curl them round until they are up to the seed leaves, then trickle the compost over until the pots full, it does work fine, I do it with lots of seeds.

I have an east facing garden at the minute and the garden is quite short. On the left I have the neighbours shrubs etc also shadowing part of the garden too. Also in the evening I get no sun to sit out in. Im making the best of the situation but it's definitely not ideal!
Oh I have I re potted them up to the leaves so I'm interested to see what happens. I also sowed some more in pots but am starting these outside in the pvc greenhouse.
By the way when you say curl them round... What do you mean by this?
