Why didn't Nigel appear till the closing credits tonight? Was he staying in his kennel with a bowl of Chateauneuf du Pape?

AAhhhh......thank you walkiestime, I thought I was the only one who had missed him
. I assumed that it was probably filmed when he was recuperating after hurting his back........poor baby.
