Moving bulbs
We are having a new front lawn put in soon (May) and have several naturalised bulbs - mainly crocus and snowdrops and a couple of daffodils. As my husband is away for the next few weeks he has just dug up all the bulbs. Should I replant them in pots for now or store them until the lawn is put in?
Many thanks

If the bulbs still have leaves on them (likely at this time of the year) then I would pot them up otherwise the leaves will die and, while they will may well survive, they are unlikely to flower next year as the leaves are now feeding the bulbs for future flowers.
Thanks for the advice!
