Hi all sown a fair few tom seeds this year, 1st ones suncherry smile all germinated and all looking good, they're still up here in attic at the mo but as need space wondering if I can put them out into 'gh'/coldframe it's east facing v sheltered we're in Sheffield

    They'll be fine out there during the day but bring them indoors at night until things warm up a bit.

    They need decent night time temperatures or they'll just stall rosemummy. If they're still small plants, I'd follow Ceres' advice for a while yet, especially if you intend growing them outdoors eventually and not in a greenhouse. 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Yes, mine are in the little greenhouse during the day and on the dining table at night image

    Just have to remember to bring them in ................ image


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    yes that is the problem, remembering to bring things in is a major stumbling block for me!! will try... yes they will be grown outdoors in pots
