I think you need to go and stand in the naughty corner.
No football is proper - IMHO - and is never reason to cut another programme, let alone our 30 precious minutes of gardening, but there is absolutely no justification for your discriminating between one form or t'other of the unlovely game.
WHAT????? have had a tough couple of days ( been woken upo 230 am than can't go bsack to sleep naughty children husband away ) was REALLY looking forward to that . Is it on later or a whole week off? sorry up in attic legs too tired to make it down all those stairs yet again!
.
Monty had a moan about it at the end of last weeks programme, just right too!
I'm off to a proper football match tomorrow, football should be played on a Saturday, kick off 3pm, none of this Friday night mularcky spoiling "OUR" gardening programme!
for the BBC
and
for KT53
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
rosemummy Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but GW not on at all this week.
Don't forget Beechgrove on Sunday morning though.
heehee. at least I'm so far behind I haven't watched last weeks yet, I hoard them on the planner for when I 'm woken early and if I can't get back to sleep manage to sneak downstairs without company ( then it'd be the gruffalo for the hundredth time ) only just watched beechgrove yeatserday
So why can't they just film it and put it on the iplayer and show it on the repeat slot on the Beeb at the weekend.
It's back next week for 2 weeks - then it's off again
This is typical of BBC management who routinely cancel GW for tedious sporting events that could be shown elsewhere. Is it really too much to ask to have 30 minutes of gardening each week? GW should be at least an hour long anyway. There is simply not enough time for Monty's garden let alone the other segments. Why can GW not be put on the red button? There is a huge appetite for gardening on tv and the BBC simply does not care. We are saturated in football but the fact is more people garden than support footie. It is just not good enough Auntie!
