Could someone identify what type of hosta this is please - some kind of regal?

No idea is the honest answer. It's a bit small to see the full shape. the Regals tend to be more upright, but, as said, it's early in the season.
ha ha - ok, thanks anyway guys! Maybe I'll come back when it's bigger.
It's the River Thames in the background by the way (just by London Bridge!)
