Quick update on postcards - kids are having a fabulous week, it's hectic and hard work, 30 kids aged between 6 and 11 learning English through play, full of enthusiasm and excitement which we are trying to channel into learning is exhausting, however, it is going well and we are managing to teach them something without them realising it - they just think it is all good fun.
Postcards are being used is lots of different ways and I managed to get a quick photo yesterday - thank you all so much for the contributions, I think we ended up with well over a 100. I will post some more as I get them.

Last day of English school today, they have had a fabulous time and the postcards have been well and truly utilised. Thank you everyone for the contributions, they were very much appreciated and made a huge difference to the learning. You were all mentioned by the President in the closing speech and the French parents sent you all a big hip hip hooray - the kids just blew their trumpets extremely loudly.
All ended with a 'street party' as a Happy 90th Birthday gesture to the Queen.

Wish I could say yes, but actually was the President of the Charity who organised the event. I am sure he is very important too though.
