any suggestions on how to erradicate this on 2x6ft well established wall trained specimens in Devon - haven't seen a plant in the area without this pest!. I have cut all growth back to bare wood and sprayed with insecticide.
I had that problem with some of mine last year Vanessa - I had got them from a well known DIY store with a garden department - I got rid of mine - they were just £10.00 for 4 plants so didn't feel too bad about the loss - but before the gall mite struck the plants were lovely - full of stunning flowers and much admired. So I would be interested to know if there is a successful cure for the mite.
