Chrysanthemum?

image

Hello

The flower in the attached photo is the last one of a bunch of flowers I was brought on the 26th of Feb 2016. It is still alive now and I would like to purchase some plants or bulbs etc but I am unsure which Chrysanthemum it is? Can anybody help?

In all likelyhood it will be a commercial variety unavailable to the average punter. https://www.trianglenursery.co.uk/42771-chrys-sp-baltica-yellow

  • Thanks, I think you are right, here is another view of the flower and it is still alive.

I've managed to get supermarket roses to root in water. Maybe your chrysanthemum could put out roots too.

Chrysanthemums do last a long while in water.

Remove the flower and lay the stem on a tray of compost, pinch back the leaves that touch the compost and you should get roots forming at that point, I know this works I have done it.
