Any ideas what this plant/shrub could be?

Shoxt3rShoxt3r Posts: 196

Hi there,

My girlfriend and myself are very new to gardening (in fact we've only had our own space for about 6 months now!) and while tidying up the area to get some plants growing over the weekend we spotted quite a few clumps (around 5-6 dotted along a bed) of a plant neither of us have seen before.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the attached could be?

Thanks in advance.

Andrew

One of the hardy geraniums - there are lots  - it will flower in the summer and then you and we might be able to identify which one

Most of them are pretty good ground cover plants so they're usually worth keeping.

Thanks very much for the help! I used an app to identify it as well and it stated it is a Geranium S.P?

My thought is to keep at least one or two of the bunches or maybe transplant them somewhere else in the garden. However I believe we have at least 4-5 of them springing up!
