leaning cordyline tree

hi we bought a cordyline tree last year, it is now about 3ft tall with only about a foot of trunk.the trouble we have now is it is starting to lean and the soil around the trunk is starting to break up. is there any way of trying to support it and straighten it up.

many thanks

    Hi Andrew image

Is it planted in the ground or in a container?

Do you know why it's leaning - is it because of a prevailing wind?
