Terracotta pot heating

Any done this type of heating in there greenhouse does it work wit the terracotta pot and candle

    Philippa does it bring temperature up , I got some tea lights today 8 hour ones you can get 12 hour ones but only seen them on ebay .

    No one has responded what size of glasshouse will the candles lift sufficient temperature to safely keep tender plants in. ?.

    I think Dave is the only one who has actually tried this so far cornelly.

    I saw this on you tube, plenty of videos there that may have the answer for you.

    For those looking for candles 

    Asda large tealights 10 for £2  approx 9hrs burning time.

    I tried this in my 'growhouse' (4'0"x2'0" glass & aluminium)  in December but it failed to keep the temp about zero even with insulation round the glass. OH thought I would burn the greenhouse down image I gave up due to the condensation and the fact that I didn't have anything particularly tender.

    I think it would work in larger greenhouse but might take a few candles.

    Wouldn't do for my 13 x 10 x 10 wooden glasshouse, I will stay with spun fleece over temder plants placed on the floor, or on polystyrene trays.
