Pruning raspberry bush

Hi

We're gardening novices and inherited a raspberry bush in our new garden and haven't pruned it yet. Is it too late to do so? Buds have started to appear. I think it's a primocane.

All advice gratefully received.

    Last weeks gardeners works had raspberry pruning.

    Its still on BBC iPlayer.



    There's different pruning times, depending on when it flowers.

    Summer or autumn.
