Is my yucca dying?

We planted a yucca in the garden last year which thrived however i've noticed the leaves start to drop and some of them have brown spots on them? Has it caught a disease? Can I save it? Thanks

I had two lovely yucca plants sent to me by someone here on the seed swap thread, survived two winters and now just gone yellowy/ brown and soggy, I wonder if it was the late cold spell we had.

Yucca can look a bit depressed after winter, especially a wet one. They like drainage. I'd consider lifting it and adding grit to the planting hole and replant it. They're tough old things so !ay well recover.

It may grow out of the middle fresh then?

May do Lyn depends if it's been sitting in wet conditions and for how long. I have a few little ones if it dies.

Maybe he will grow his prickles when he gets older, if he does

i feel sorry as Bekkie sent it to me, and one for daughter, which is perfect, down there in Cornwall.
