  • This showed the easy bit, buy plants and pot them up. The mystery of chrysanthemum is when to 'stop' them, do you stop them twice, should you disbud ?

    Some chrysanths need stopping once some twice, you need to know the varieties to do this correctly, most garden varieties will only need stopping once, it is usually the late varieties that need a two stop, pot mums don't need stopping, stop May into June for most out door earlies, if a crown bud forms rub it out that will have done the trick.
