STRAWBERRY IRRIGATION ADVICE

I grow strawberries in my poly tunnel and have 3 runs of 150 plants.. So far I water these manually by hose but would love to have a timed water irrigation set up.

I have just ordered 150 "T's" to connect up to 6 mm hosing that I intend to run separately to each of the 3 runs each containing 50 x strawberry plants.

I would appreciate advice on what would be the best timed water device to have?

If anyone has a similar set up, I would appreciate how you water yours if its on an automatic system?

    A soaker hose would have been my solution.

    Thanks Dave. I do have soaker hoses, but as the supply of water has to be quite direct to the plants in their grow bags, I would lose so much water with this option I would have thought?

    Ah didn't say you were using grow bags. Is the soil not good enough to plant directly into the soil. The commercial set ups are probably the best. If you can find a commercial grower they may help with a name.
