Which Cherry Tree
in Fruit & veg
I have a small patch of ground at the front of my house, and would like to plant a cherry tree. The ground already has a variety of shrubs, and the spot I would like to plant in would be around 5m from the house. The site doesn't get a huge amount of sun, and the soil is quite clay-like.
I'm not sure which type of cherry tree to plant - should I get a small flowering one like a Cistena, or go for a smaller fruiting variety like Morello?

I have a patio cherry tree in a half barrel. I bought it last year and I was wondering what would be the best feed for it.
I would suggest contacting the Brogdlae Collection- National fruit collection.
They have and sell many varieties of fruit tree including cherry. I bought two cherry trees there last year and the advice in helping me choose was excellent.
As you are planning this to be sighted near the house, they have various varieties available on dwarf root stocks.
