I have a front lawn and a back lawn - The front lawn grows a lot slower than the back does - does anyone know why this might be?

Different soil, different grass, more/less shade?
In the sticks near Peterborough
One has the sun on it all day, the other doesn't, one was prepared better than the other, could be several different reasons.
My front lawn grows much faster than the back, more sun and much more sheltered. Mind you - both are more moss and weeds than grass
