gooseberry bushes.
Hi to fellow gardeners, last year, my 3 gooseberry bushes were doing very well, then within a week or 2 they lost all their fruit and leaves...any ideas why. Also does anyone know where I can buy Humulus Lupulus Aureus, or " Hops " plants please. I am new to this site,so I may have done all this wrong, be gentle please. Pamela.

Hello Pamela and welcome
Crocus will have some Golden Hop available in the summer - you can ask them to email you when it's available http://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/humulus-lupulus-aureus/classid.1664o/
My guess is that the Gooseberry saw fly has got to your gooseberry bushes and stripped the leaves https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=517
Maybe the birds then took the fruit?
