Pruning Pauls himalayan musk rose
in Plants
Hello
I purchased two Pauls himalayan musk roses last winter
They both grew shoots that are about 3 to 4 foot long in their first year but got no flowers as expected
Should I prune them at all for their second year or just let them branch out horizontally.?
They have had a good feed of chicken manure so I'm hoping to get a display this year
Thanks

It's a rambler so let it grow silver light. Last year's shoots may give some flowers this year and new growth can be expected. Prune out last year's shoots after flowering.
I agree with Dave
Hope you've got plenty of room for them
They're not a small plant.
