    I'm in year 3 of my pond and only last week was posting here about no frog spawn.

    But in the last 2 days loads has appeared along with the mating frogs.

    I googled it and apparently frogs take 2-3 years to reach breeding age.

    So hopefully next year you'll get some.

    image  Just heard my MIL has some in HER pond!   She gets hedgehogs too.

  • Plants from puddleplants have been in the pond for a few weeks and seem to be growing. I'll post some pics when they're a bit more established.

    I'm amazed by how many creatures are in it already. There are lots of ant-sized things swimming about in it. They don't have legs, so I guess they are some sort of larvae?
