I've had some for about 3 yrs.' now & only realised last year about the tap vs. rain issue. What a difference it made. I have got 4 more last Nov' to start off & will use those 12 -15" square plastic tubs with the water reservoirs in the base. They keep them happy between weekends. New Ericaceous compost every year.
This site could do with some pruning advice though. Winter / Early Spring / Late Autumn ???
Dear Chris, If you have lime-water, is there anything you can add to it to neutralize it? I live in Cambridge, very hard water, and very little rainfall.
Hi, I've got two blueberry plants side by side in a pot as I was told they thrive better in pairs! Last summer I had lots of success and hundreds of berries on my two plants but I forgot to prone them so this year not one blueberry on sight disappointingly! When is the best time to prune them back so I'm successful next year!? Also I use used coffee grounds for acidic soil. Seems to work a treat! Thanks
