Hi guys what a lovely day 
Can. anyone say what little jumping bugs about cm long and very fast . every thing I'm moving or digging seems to be harbouring them . They move soo fast . Are they harmful or just a nuisance

Sounds like springtails - not harmful - lots of food for baby birds and hedgehogs

Thankyou Dove I hoped they were harmless ill continue moving stuff around so the birds notice them
They're good guys, they help break down organic stuff in the soil and do loads of other good things (see here http://www.happydranch.com/articles/Springtail.htm )
