Sunflower seeds gone green?

I planted some dwarf sunflowers 5 days ago. One pot has some healthy looking sprouts popping up but the other pot, each seed looks to have turned into a green squishy ball with no obvious root. Can anyone advise what's happened to them?

It's rotted Lou. Probably bad seed or too wet.
