Does anyone have a Star Magnolia? I'm just wondering how many weeks I might expect one to be in flower for (Full sun, southern Wiltshire)...

Funnily enough I have just taken a picture of mine as I came home from the dentist, it looked so beautiful....
It has been in bud for weeks but has opened up beautifully now the sun is out. I do remember last year we had a really windy day soon after it opened and all it's flowers were lost, but here's hoping it will last a bit longer this year.
