Your solicitor should have sent you a long questionaire as to what you plan to leave and take, let them know what you plan to take. I'm taking some but the new owners won't know what as it's stuff which hadn't started to put out a show when they viewed or I'm splitting plants and leaving half behind.
Chances are the new owners will want to put their mark on the garden anyway.
Any bulbs you want to take will be fine if put in pots.
Thanks for your advice - I hadn't even thought about the legal side of things (we won't be putting the house on the market for a couple of months). I'll try taking cuttings of my favourite Camellias - is now a good time to do this or should I wait until it warms up outside? I'll leave the lawn behind!
