Garlic - Solent White
Hi all
Just thought i would raise a new thread on garlic and how is every ones progressing on their gardens.
My garlic was planted in October 2015 and is now progressing steadily and will be ready for lifting late July
Ihave grown this type for the last three years and have had a good return in volume
The cloves planted are from my best and biggest bulbs grown last year with th elittle cloves used for cooking to which i stil have plenty to last until the fresh green garlic is ready
May i say that fresh green garlic is fantastic in taste however hopefully all my crop will return and keep me in produce for the year

There is no better taste than green garlic fresh from the garden roasted with some lamb rump and a bit of mash

progress on the garlic doing well, will give a top dressing of grow more end of month for the productivity of a great crop harvest late July early August
