Just a joke...possibly.

In a former life I admit to being an estate agent.  When describing the gardens in the house 'particulars', whenever possible I would incorporate something like 'bounded by Laurel and Hardy annuals'. No-one ever 'got it', made me laugh though!

Not sure I can forgive you for being an Estate Agent though....image

    Hi Vegemight, (Australian?)

Ever read "Brothel in Pimlico"? Best amusing descriptions of properties I have ever seen.

I love estate agent speak...compact or bijou, means you can't swing a cat round.

easliy maintained garden....covered in concrete or decking. Tastefully decorated, head to foot in magnolia emulsion.

I love the Laurel and hardy planting though.

Verdun, I don't think your jokes are missed as such, maybe just ignoredimagexx
