leggy seedlings
i've sown quite a lot of seeds this year so far, my 1st lot of sweet peas are already out in the 'gh' ( in reality it's more of a cold frame) lots of others ( toms cucmber nasturtiums phlox) germinated and will be pricked out and moved out when i feel ok to, but the cosmos I sowed (3 different types) have germinated poorly and are extremely leggy, I direct sowed some last year but had very poor results, so I thought I'd improve my display, help! these are supposed to be easy! they're in as light a place ( atiic windowsill glass on 2 sides) as I have, shall I prick out now and hope they'll improve ? any advice welcome thanks in advance

I think you might be a bit early. I used to sow mine in pots outside late March and they were fine. They don't usually flower until mid summer anyway.
thanks both, they only have seed leaves at mo, i will pinch out asap, think i'll get them outside reasonably soon, know we're oop North but back garden where 'gh' is si v sheltered..sorry slightly off subject any advice on when to put toms etc out? getting pushed for space!
I don't sow mine till start of April, and I am in Sheffield, where I thought you were from Rosemummy.
