I usually have a good crop of rasberries but this year, the canes bear little, if any, flower, unyet look healthy.
Similarly, my cultivated Blackberries produce plenty of canes, look very healthy but absolutely no flower - can anyone explain ? The Blackberries, I believe, are Himilayan

How old are the canes? If they aren't old I can only think it was the unpredictable weather this spring and summer. My summer rasps have only just started to produce fruit, the autumn ones are going skywards but nothing else.
Have the blackberries shown no sign of a flowerbud or have the flowers formed but died and shrivelled up? Last year I had no luck, this year they are fine. Funny old world.
