As predicted, after dying back my philadelphiums are coming along lovely, not the same with my ranunculus however. As I have never grown them before I don't know what to expect.
They died back completely but so far I can see no sign of life. Is this normal, when can I expect shoots or do you think they have died a death?

Bit early for them yet Patricia. Be patient they'll come back if theyre in the right conditions.
