Bodch Rotary Mower problem

The Dead Man's control stopped working while I was mowing my Mother's lawn this morning. To turn off the machine I had to unplug at the mains. I would appreciate any ideas as to what has gone wrong and whether it is a straightforward diy job to fix.

Thanks

I would email Bosch direct, would be the best bet.

Sounds as if the 'dead man's switch' has either broken or stuck in the 'on' position.  As pansyface has said, messing with anything electrical should be done by a pro.  The furthest I would go myself is to take the screws out to see the workings of the dead man switch and check for anything obvious.
