grenhouse pests

seedlings are being eaten by something in my (unheated) greenhouse

I have ants in the garden but have seen none yet this year

any ideas what it could be and how to stop it

    The two most likely are slugs/snail and mice.  Look under your trays or modules for slugs etc.  If no sign, try a mouse trap or leave some food on the ground and see if it disappears.  Mice are excellent climbers.

  • I have whitefly nibbling at my tender cold GH plants also a sort of black fly - I try to squish them manually and have been fairly successful. Could this be your problem jb5? I try to open the doors as much as possible when it is sunny and calm outside as I think ventilation helps to combat the problem
