That's what I thought Hosta - hence getting it as spawn.
If you're right philippa - they'l need a couple of buses!
We collected spawn from the local pond many years back when the girls were small. No ponds in the gardens here. A couple of frogs did appear in the garden, over the next few years, and stayed around, so I'm hoping....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
we saw what I was sure was a honey bee in front garden yesterday, it was stumbling about looking disoriented, hope it's ok, seen 1 ladybird, my tulips are all between 2& 5ins high already
Dove, I seem to remember smuggling you some Ipswich ladybird larvae last year....good breeding stock in this town obviously! I've seen a few but not a group! Hope I didn't give you all the good ones!
Loved the lamb tale, Buttercupdays, reminded me of my childhood eh Dove
Lovely to see you Wintersong, thanks for heralding in spring, it arrived here Sunday I had the most fantastic day in the garden filling seed trays, it was winter again here today but I don't mind asking as my seeds grow and its sunny when I'm not working!

What an amazing sight Dove!
I saw a tiny ladybird today and we have had bumble bees for a few weeks now.
Bees going for pulmonaria and primroses today.
Quite a lot I think philippa - single or double decker?
They'd need tiny little seatbelts too...
