plant for bathroom

pingping Posts: 70

Hi, I have been looking for a small plant/s that I can possible put in my bathroom but the lack of natural light and high moisture contain environment prove there's quite impossible for any plant to survive?

Just wondering anyone can give me any suggestion or idea to try on?

Thank you

I have an aloe vera in mine. It sits on a windowsill and thrives on neglect. I rarely water it and its grown so much it'll need potting on and spliting

I have a Rex begonia in my downstairs toilet with no window and it does really well. My neighbour has a shelf of ferns in hers that also look healthy. I don't think there are many plants that like a lack of light though

I would try a fern.  If you leave the bathroom door open quite a bit that should be enough light for a fern.

I realise you are looking for real plants, but how about artificial plants in this case? These days they're looking pretty good and you could have blooms as well.

hi Aster2, there are lots of choices for arti. plant but I really like real plants as they can help up with the freshness in the bathroom, also I like to see them grow!! image

You can keep exchanging the artificial plants for bigger ones. image But yes, of course I understand.
