Growing swede in raised bed?

Can I grow swede in raised bed its 14 inches tall also the raised bed is on concrete?

    No reason why not Michael as long as it doesn't dry out

    Just worried about the roots how far they go down. because I read there not recommended for pots. and also beetroot should be fine to?

    Swede is one of the vegetables - celeriac is another - that IMHO is far better grown in a field by a farmer. They are very cheap in a greengrocer's. Otherwise I think you will be back on here asking why your swedes are no bigger than tennis balls.
