Seen a snail on one, but I think it was using it as a route to an adjacent common broom rather than feding on the rose.
we have had some hard frosts here the last week, could that kill any emerging slugs?
Foxgloves i find tend to get nibbled once per plant. Almost as if they are toxic or summat
Pesky slugs!
B3 may not realize that slug pellets also kill whatever eats the slug - fox, urban badger( they exist.i've seen one in my neighbour's garden), robin, thrush! hegehog etc. I've seen a hedgehog die from slug pellet poisoning and it's awful....
hardy geraniums, hydrangeas, roses, fuchsias, anything with spikey or furry leaves.
