Snow

Invicta2Invicta2 Posts: 663

Got about 5" snow but it is still falling.  The garden looks beautiful, as snow covers a multitude of sins { mainly untidiness }. Absolute chaos on roads, no gritting everyone caught out by this. Nearby Road blocked by two buses stuck opposite each other on steep hill. Schools closed, got two teenage boys out playing in it, much more fun than lessons and exams.

Snowed for 2 minutes a couple of mins ago. Bright sunshine now but from the look of the clouds more snow (or rain) on its way soon. There goes my trip up to the allotment!!!

  • We had snow for about 2 hours on Wednesday morning which surprisingly settled although soon melted away. Today we just have torrential rain!

Nice bright blue skies here in east anglia image I've been out and done a bit of pruning and pressure washed the paths and patios. Just about to have lunch in the garden

Invicta and Jason it sounds as though you have it far worse your side of the Pennines, I heard that Woodhead was closed this morning,

Perki I've seen your photos but don't know your location.

Pauline have a safe trip to work and back.

It starting to melt now and its drizzling.

I live in East Lancashire or south west Pennines.

Totally forgot about the Viburnum Tinus couldnt see it , its been flattened. I think it be ok hopefully.

Might go and knock snow off GH roof so I can sow the rest of my seeds. Mind last time I did that it caused a avalanche which ended up on me.
