Advice please from regular sweetpea growers. Have i left it to late to grow from seed in the greenhouse?

No, plenty of time. I have just started mine but have started them off indoors, very cold here at the moment.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • No, not too late at all, I planted my seeds about 10 days ago and they are just germinating - I intend to plant a few more seeds tomorrow - all in a cold greenhouse with a cover over the pot - (pane of glass).

    Not even started yet image

I usually sow direct outside - weather permitting - in April. If I start them indoors it would be in a couple of weeks, otherwise they'll get too leggy before I can harden them off to go outside. You have plenty of time image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
