Fushia wanted but what kind?
My grandad had this massive hedge ike fushia in his garden when I was little, he passed away some years ago but fushias always remind me of him.
What type of fushia would grow this tall? I Work in a garden center and all the ones we have get to 1-2 meters the one I remember was at least 12 feet..... although it will of been well established
Thanks guys

Was it like this one? https://www.victoriananursery.co.uk/Ballerina_Fuchsia_Hedging/
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have some of these, they will grow tall but if you want to keep them to a thick hedge and not leggy you need to cut them right back in the early Spring Every so often.
Mine are cut to the ground and make about five feet every year.

I think you need F. magellanica as Lyn suggests but also a garden in the right area of the country. Fuchsias don't get that big where I live and I'd never seen massive hedges til I went to Ireland.
I've never been to Cornwall, sorry Verdun, but I expect it's much the same.
In the sticks near Peterborough
They grow like wildfire down hear Nut, you won't find a Cornish garden without one, especially near the coast lines.
I was amazed Lyn. A different world.
In the sticks near Peterborough
fuschia, crocosmia and even echium grow like weeds in these parts Nut.
You've never been to Cornwall, Nut????
More gorgeous lush gardens and plants than any other county in England.
Cornwall always has a soft spot in my heart.
not as good as Devon though.
