OMG chicky, until I read it properly I thought that was your garden. Time for some coffee and wake up properly.

have, however, been very pleased with my beaujolais - but not sure of my chances of getting it through a winter.  It has been flowering for ages though, with many more buds still to come - so definitely good value if only for a season.  Time will tellimage

My plant is close to over now, had to stake it but otherwise am happy with it. Will report back with propagating carry-on henceforth.

Mine has still got the last few flowers to come -- have been very pleased with it - love the colour and the variegated leaves.

Are you going to try and take cuttings Vic?  If so, let me know how you go about it, and how you get on - might try and copycatimage

So not a truly academic scientific experiment then Chicky - duh! image image

I'll be interested in the over-wintering and taking cuttings side of this - now that I've got a sunnier bed image

  • Resurrecting this thread to admit that my gooseneck is deadimage Pulled it up yesterday.

I'm pretty sure it didn't seed as they didn't ripen in time before winter and I've checked my random cuttings pots and nothing that looks healthy is a one of these.
