Anyone up for a little experiment? Could be fun?

Hello folks,

Just a thought, but would anyone be interested in a little experiment where a few of us order the same plant from the same provider within the same week, and then compare delivery, quality, how well it grows etc....maybe take cuttings or collect seeds too..... could be fun and interesting.

I'm not thinking of spending a huge amount, say £5-£10.

Just an idea but do let me know if anyone is up for it and if you have any particular plant or supplier in mind.... I think there is 30% off Sarah Raven at the moment.....

I think maybe the providers might observe this site. We may need to be a bit more sneaky

I think it sounds rather fun! I'm up for it.

B3 it would be interesting to see if suppliers do notice this site.

I'd be up for it, if it's something I'd be growing anyway.image

With so many orders coming in at this time of year, I don't think any supplier would analyse their orders to see if people were ordering in concert.

It is pretty obvious certain suppliers don't look at this site or they would up their game! Ordering from certain firms should not be a lottery; it is such a waste of time, money and energy.

All of these are under £10. Fancy any?

I'm up for No. 1 if I've got somewhere that'll suit it image

Great! It's called Lysimachia atropurpurea 'Beaujolais' and it's on the Sarah Raven website.

Good news! It's in stock. It should be £5.50 plus £4.95 postage but I've found a voucher code and it gives 10% plus free postage so it's coming in at less than £5! Brilliant!

Type in the box that says 'Have an offer code'  this:   SAVSP16

I've bought one just now. Perhaps if anyone that wants to join in buys it this week too we can compare how we get on! Love it!  Our own little trial!
