DAGNAMMIT........,!!
More haste less speed and less money in my pocket. 
Should have changed my shoes, should have been more patient but impulse decided I lift and divide another miscanthus. It is pretty big...very big
thought it would take 10 minutes but took me 40. Sliced through my trainers (yep! Too lazy to change them) and broke my stainless steel spade. A crowbar was not far away but, no, I just had to keep levering with my spade. 
Eventually extracted the grass and then needed a saw to cut it. A few "deary me's" 
and I replanted what I wanted to.
the cost? New trainers and spade.
could have, would have, should have. 
If only I curbed my impetuousness
