Please help! What can I grow that deer will not eat.

The make regular visits to our garden even to the point of getting their head stuck in our gate and we had to get the RSPCA out to rescue them.

They will eat petunias ,fuschia, geraniums, gladioli, potato flowers, broad bean flowers.

Any help would be appreciated.

The RHS have the perfect page for you, Joyce:

They may not all be completely deer-proof, but it is a very long list which contains some very nice plants so I'm sure you will eventually find some that are not to your local residents taste. image

My OH ended up fencing my garden as the deer ate most of it. I enjoy it so much more now. But there is some unfenced garden. The deer don't eat dahlias, peonies, rudbeckia, fuschias, caryopteris, knautia, stachys the lambs ears one, antirrhinums or foxgloves. Oh, I see you say they eat fuschias, they don't touch mine!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
