all 3 bags are now growing well at the back of my garden and i have topped up the soil.

each bag is almost full of soil and leafs are just popping out

the rate they are going it seems a bigger bag may have been better

    i presume these grow quick

from hardly a sprout on spud to out of the bags and growing high in about 6 weeks

can only do one more soil top up this weekend then no more room

I too was surprised at the speed of growth. I planted a potato at the bottom of each large pot, filled with compost, and in a matter of weeks I had buds popping up at the surface and now leaves and stems.

so my bags are about a foot tall and now the plants are getting close to 4foot high

1 has fallen and broken stems, are they supposed to get this tall?  i cannot add anymore soil.

trim them down a bit would help?

Leave them until the leaves begin to brown and then harvest.
