Iron sulphate.

Hi all, hope I'm posting this in the right section, but I've bought some iron sulphate to kill the moss in my lawn, it's water soluble, but I wondered if it's harmful to plants, should I be worried about overspill onto my borders? I know it's a tonic for grass, but will it harm plants? Hope it's not too stupid a question lol.
