If your looking for a relatively quick solution that'll be reasonably hassle free for years to come fill the border with some perennials. They'll come back year on year and give colour for months and months and they don't need too much care and attention. I'm a mail order man myself and love to find some bargains where I can because that really can be troublesome at time, especially when crocus are ripping you off left right and centre charging stupid price for plants ????
I always use mailorderperennials.co.uk for my perennials they have an online range of around 400 perennial plants currently all priced at ??3.50! That's amazing especially with free 48hour delivery
Give them a try I highly recommend mailorderperennials.co.uk

Thank you
Succulents, grasses, lots of ground cover sedum. All drought tolerant.
Blimey thank you
I am a great lover of Pinterest
Loads of ideas on there. I am about to redesign my own beds as they are not very interesting at the moment.

Loui12, what are those big green flower ones called they look lovely?
Gardenlover1, do you work for mailorderperennials? That's the second time you've recommended them in 3 forum posts.
I am not certain but I think maybe Lou got that picture from Pinterest by her wording.
if it is her garden its beautiful and those plants go so well together, and I wish Gardenlover would stop peddling his wares.
