Sunshine!

We have had two days of glorious sunshine out of 4 days so far this week - so easy to get carried away with the brilliant, warmth of th sun but we have also experienced our first morning of frost this winter earlier in the week too. However there is certainly more daylight time than there was a few weeks ago.  Roll on a decent Spring ....

  • Spring cleaning in the house - well I haven't done much of that but I have been clearing the garden of all the twigs and pine needles that fall in the winter gales and the garden is almost prepared for Spring - however it is still too wet to dig over the veg patch although we don't normally plant anything in there until after Easter anyway.

  • It's not my favourite pastime either nutcutlet - in fact now that we have moved there is very little to do thankfully. As long as the basics are clean and the windows are opened as much as possible then that's about it for me!

My garden is so waterlogged, I daren't walk on it, let alone dig anything up. No idea when it'll be done, hey ho.

Housework is looming big time as our lovely cleaner is on holiday and hubby has been decorating which always creates dust. Tomorrow I'll be moving the orchids from the breakfast room table back into the utility room and tidying up after them. That counts as housework, doesn't it?

  • Edd - are you really taking some of your OH's Metformin???!!!  If so then forgive me for saying so, but you're being a complete idiot - it's a dangerous drug and shouldn't be taken without prescription or being monitored.  It can make you very ill indeed.  Why on earth are you taking it?  If you think you're ill then see your GP.  Don't self-prescribe.  It's not some sort of dietary supplement!!!

And your OH should be taking the amount prescribed for her!!!  Not giving some of it to you!!!

You have a partner and child who rely on you - for goodness sake be sensible!!!

Edd. PLEASE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

This is a clinical trial, they are not claiming that it works, only that they are trialling it, under very close supervision.

    It is potentially very dangerous.
