Dangerous slippy path when wet
I have a slabbed, sloping path in my back garden. Yesterday I slipped quite badly and realise I need to do something quickly. It is a smallish section of path, about 25 foot in a large country garden. I am quite prepared to have the slabs removed.
All suggestions welcome.

Are the slabs set level or on the slope, maybe you can level them? I have the same problem in my garden, but the slabs are laid level like a set of stairs.
We have this problem and use a pressure washer to remove slime. Otherwise you can scrub them or replace with something more textured. Ours are level but they still become dangerously slippy.
You might be better resorting to gravel if you don't want to do what Lyn is suggesting. If the aspect's shady, it's the best solution.
A sloping path is fine in good conditions, but a 'stepped' path would be much safer.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Best method is to do as Posy suggested. Right now is a good time to do it. You can sprinkle sharp sand on top as a temporary measure.
Mr J, I'd think unless one was hugely skillful with an angle grinder, the results might look awful IMHO
Richard, how steep is this " sloping path" if I might ask?
