Lovely day
What a lovely day down here in South Wales, for the first time since last autumn able to get on and dig some of the potato plot, which has had a layer of garden compost over it since October, its the only plot where compost is used in a three year cycle, of potatoes, and I have found it sufficient to grow good veg, in rotation.

How lovely to hear that Cornelly - hopefully my elderly aunt on The Gower will have been able to wander around her garden and feed her chickens in the sunshine.
Too cold here in East Anglia to play in the garden today... or am I turning into a wimp
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dovefromabove, looking out through our front bedroom window towards Swansea, it will be perfect for your elderly aunt to wander round her garden, not a cloud to be seen, I only stopped digging because at my age I have to pace myself, hopefully their will be a few more dry and sunny days to come this week, the veg plot is over a redundant railway line so it drains fairly well, easy to dig, what I know of East Anglia it can be cold with winds of the North Sea.
Too cold here to venture out in the garden here too except for a quick 15 minutes in the GH. I potted up some single flowering snowdrops into a small vase my father saved from going to the tip for me (and also kindly drilled in some drainage holes).
We've had a few snow showers throughout the day so I've postponed doing anything else!
